IELTS Score Conversion Table
You can refer to the IELTS Listening and Reading score conversion table below to convert the number of correct answers into the corresponding band score. The scoring method for the Listening test is the same for both Academic and General Training. However, the Reading test has different conversion tables for the two formats.

How to Calculate The Overall IELTS Score
The Overall IELTS Score is the average of the scores from the four skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The formula is:
Overall Score = (Listening + Reading + Writing + Speaking) / 4
Rounding Rules for the IELTS Score
Both the Overall IELTS Score and the scores for individual skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) are rounded to the nearest 0.5 or whole number based on these rules:
- If the decimal is 0.25, it is rounded up to 0.5.
- If the decimal is 0.75, it is rounded up to the next whole number.
